4M Tactical was never about filling a gap in the market.

It was about solving problems that only those who’ve been in the fight truly understand.

In 2015, two seasoned operators—Jan “John” Žižka and Radek “Chomber” Duchek—set out to build something different. Between them, decades of service in the Czech Intervention Police and Special Operations Group SOG, with deployments to Iraq, Kosovo, and Afghanistan. They didn’t just carry gear. They relied on it. They knew what failed. And more importantly, what didn’t.

So they stopped waiting for someone else to build it—and did it themselves.

What started as a mission between two brothers-in-arms has evolved into a full-spectrum defense design house, supporting tactical professionals across Europe and beyond. While Jan laid the foundation, Radek now leads the company forward, staying true to their original ethos: build with intent, test without compromise, and serve those who serve.
